From September 2009 we will be based at:
Newham Leisure Centre, 281 Prince Regent Lane, Newham, London E13 8SD. Map
We are running the following courses (places still available);
Mini-Pirates (age 4-8). A great, safe, fun introduction to fencing.
Tuesdays 6.30pm – 7.30pm,
Max. No: 20 per class
cost £36.00 per course.
Coach: Dave Savin - Newham Swords coach.
Junior-Pirates (age 8 and up) The first fun step for older children.
Tuesdays 6.45pm - 7.45pm,
Max. No: 16 per class
cost £36.00 per course.
Coach: Jonathon Weekes - Newham Swords coach and also the stunt double for the James Bond baddie in "Die Another Day".
Thursdays 6.45pm - 7.45pm,
Max. No: 16 per class
cost £36.00 per course.
Coach: Linda Strachan - Newham Swords coach, former Olympian and seven times British Womens Foil Fencing Champion.
Adult Courses - The best way to learn your parry from your riposte! As well as learning fencing skills it is a great way to keep fit, it does wonders for your legs, bums and tums!
Beginners
Thursdays 6.30pm - 7.30pm,
Max. No: 10 per class
cost £49.00 per course.
Intermediate
Thursdays 7.30pm - 8.30pm,
Max. No: 10 per class
cost £49.00 per course.
